    外教参加阳光公益行动

阳光行动——关爱留守儿童公益课堂

11月25日上午，关爱留守儿童公益课堂在我校文管学院302教室举行，本次活动由河南城建学院微博协会、河南城建学院外语系学生会携手平顶山宝莲升共同举办。大河网、平顶山晚报、平顶山电视台等媒体来到课堂对活动进行了跟踪报导。

On 25th November a ‘commonwealth’ class was conducted in one of the classrooms at the campus in Henan University of Urban Construction (HUUC) at Pingdingshan city, Henan province, China.

It was specifically designed for the benefit of those children who are obligated to stay at home while their parents have to go far away to make a proper living.

The activity was held by the Microblogging Association of HUUC; The Foreign Language Department Student Union of HUUC which also cooperated with The Baoliansheng shop for Mercedes Benz.

This event appeared on the Dahe website, Pingdingshan evening newspaper, and the Pingdingshan TV station plus other local Medias.

此次活动主要是带领鲁山小学的留守儿童来到河南城建学院文管校区与外籍英语教师进行英文课堂的学习交流与互动。外教Danny的课堂氛围十分活跃，孩子们被外教老师幽默的表达、丰富的语言动作深深吸引，孩子们参与教学的积极性十分活跃，并通过他们在校学习的简单英文主动向外教老师进行提问和互动。

This fun activity was to bring the unattended children of’ Lushan’ Primary School to the campus of HUUC and conduct a variety of introductory educational games with a foreign teacher from the UK called Danny Teller.

Danny made his class interactive so the students were able to practice their basic oral English skills by in the presence of a foreigner teacher.

此次活动的目的在于使留守儿童感受到社会对他们的关爱，走进大学校园及课堂感受大学良好的学习氛围，从而引导留守儿童产生对大学的美好向往，克服生活困难，努力学习，立志成才，感恩社会。

An additional purpose of this activity was to make the children feel that the society really cares for them.

It was believed that some of the hardships in life to which the children face on a daily basis would be eased by the immense time and effort by all those concerned in this way.
